Arrival in Varanasi and Evening Aarti Ceremony
The moment you step into Varanasi, you can feel a sense of divinity in the air. You can rest and rejuvenate after reaching your hotel. As the sun sets, we'll head towards the Ganges River to witness the mesmerizing evening Aarti ceremony, which is performed every day by the Hindu priests.
The ceremony is a symphony of lights, chants, and the fragrance of incense sticks that fills the air. The priests clad in saffron robes offer prayers and perform a series of rituals that are accompanied by the sound of bells and conch shells. It's a truly awe-inspiring experience that leaves a lasting impression on visitors. As the ceremony concludes, you can feel a sense of peace and serenity that envelops you.

Morning Boat Ride and Temple Visit
Start the day early with a serene boat ride on the Ganges River to witness the magical sunrise over the ghats. The ghats are a series of stone steps that lead down to the river and are considered holy by the Hindus. As the sun rises, casting a golden glow over the city and the river, you can feel a sense of spiritual awakening within you.
After the boat ride, we'll visit some of the most iconic temples in Varanasi, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Durga Temple. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most significant and revered temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated in the heart of the city and is a must-visit for all visitors to Varanasi.
The Sankat Mochan Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is another popular temple that is visited by thousands of devotees every day. It's said that visiting this temple can relieve one of all their troubles and bring peace to their lives. The Durga Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is home to a large number of monkeys that are considered sacred by the locals.
As you wander through the narrow lanes of Varanasi, you can feel a sense of mysticism in the air. The bustling markets, the colourful shops selling handicrafts, and the aroma of street food, all come together to create an unforgettable experience. A pilgrimage tour in India is incomplete without roaming across temples of Varanasi.

Sarnath Excursion and Departure
On the last day of the tour, we'll take an excursion to Sarnath, a small town located just 10 kilometres from Varanasi. Sarnath is considered one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world as it's where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.
As we enter the town of Sarnath, we can feel a sense of calmness and tranquillity that surrounds us. We'll visit the Dhamek Stupa, one of the most prominent structures in Sarnath, and the Mulagandha Kuti Vihar Temple, which is said to be the place where Lord Buddha meditated and spent his first rainy season. The temple is adorned with beautiful frescoes and murals that depict various events from Lord Buddha's life.
After the excursion, we will return to Varanasi, where you will have some free time to explore the city on your own. You can visit the local markets and bazaars.
As we bid farewell to Varanasi, we carry with us a sense of enlightenment and spiritual awakening. The city has left an indelible mark on our souls.
